  • Nrityalaya participates in numerous cultural programs throughout the year.  Students of Nrityalaya perform and showcase their
    talents, and allow the community with opportunities to see quality performances in BharataNatyam and Kuchipudi.
  • Nrityalaya’s strong commitment to the community is reflected in the company's highly popular performances in cultural programs
    throughout the state of Minnesota. Since 1991, Artistic Director Padmaja Dharnipragada has gained a statewide reputation for
    offering a diverse range of community and school programs that encourage students to explore the arts and culture of India while
    inspiring them to respect diversity.
  • Nrityalaya seeks to sustain and develop the traditional art forms of India through the teaching and performance of BharataNatyam
    and Kuchipudi for audiences of all backgrounds. Furthermore, Nrityalaya works to engage other art forms and cultures through
    educational programs and collaborative endeavors. Nrityalaya thereby promotes the values of Indian culture, preserves an ancient
    art form, and forges links among Indian, US and other cultures.
