Anisha Dharnipragada | Associate Director

Anisha Dharnipragada, student of Smt. Padmaja Dharnipragada, has grown up dancing with Nrityalaya Dance Academy. Growing up in the United States, Anisha has always been humbled with the opportunity to continue the traditions of her Indian ancestors through dance. Anisha has developed her own brand as a graceful Bharatanatyam Dancer in the Twin Cities. Anisha has several years of choreography and teaching experience with Nrityalaya Dance Academy.

She is passionate about spreading cultural awareness within her community through dance. As a result, Anisha has performed at diversity events for the younger generations in schools and at various corporate cultural awareness endeavors. Anisha was presented the Yuvva-Kala-Vahini award in 2012.  She has given several performances on various stages in North America and India in prestigious locations including the Ravindrabharati, India; Festival of India- Thunder Bay, Canada; Ordway Theater- Minneapolis, MN.  Anisha currently teaches Bharatanatyam in the Philadelphia Metro Area and online.
